I am a fashion design graduate based in Milan, with a background that combines design education, hands-on craftsmanship, and professional experience in visual merchandising and showroom environments. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design from NABA, where I developed a strong foundation in garment construction, patternmaking, fabric sourcing, and visual communication.
Throughout my studies and professional experience, I have focused on understanding how creativity translates into real-world fashion contexts. My work is driven by attention to detail, functionality, and an awareness of current trends, while maintaining a strong sense of individuality and form. I am particularly interested in how styling, materials, and construction come together to create coherent visual stories.
Since graduating, I have gained hands-on experience working as a Visual Merchandising and Showroom Assistant in Milan. In this role, I have been involved in creating and maintaining visual displays, styling models for presentations, supporting collection development, and assisting with promotional materials across digital and print platforms. Working closely with designers and sales teams has allowed me to understand both the creative and commercial sides of fashion, from concept development to client interaction.
Alongside visual merchandising, I have experience in customer service and fashion retail, where I developed strong communication skills and an ability to advise clients on styling, fit, and trends. These roles strengthened my understanding of the relationship between design intent and the final user experience.
I am fluent in Turkish and proficient in English and Italian, and I am comfortable working in international and multicultural environments. My technical skills include Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, sketching, sewing, knitting, and garment construction, supported by strong soft skills such as teamwork, time management, and problem-solving.
I am motivated by the challenge of blending creativity with practicality, and I am continuously seeking opportunities to grow as a designer while contributing thoughtfully to collaborative fashion projects.
